As the Headmaster, I am extremely impressed by the dedication exhibited by both the teaching and non-teaching staff, both present and past, in delivering outstanding comprehensive education to our students. Working together as a team, we actively encourage not only academic excellence but also a wide range of co-curricular activities for our students. Furthermore, we take great pride in celebrating the achievements of all individuals collectively

The school is dedicated to offering high-quality education and fostering the holistic development of each student, with the ultimate goal of nurturing successful global citizens. In today’s ever-changing world, where technological advancements are constantly emerging, the school provides abundant opportunities for students to innovate, think critically, and take charge of their own learning. As the name MIZO, the school has been doing its level best to preserve and promote Mizo culture and traditions among students.

Govt. Mizo High School, the first ever established High School in Mizoram, makes use of the talents and skills of staff, students and parents to provide a wide range of educational programmes and projects. Wholesome participation is encouraged in extra-curricular activities and care is also taken to ensure the well-being and happiness of each and every student in the school.

I am proud to mention that the school has well-organized Alumni- “GOVEMIKNIGHTS” since 19^th May 2017. A good number of valuable contributions and donation  have been received by the school from alumnus.

With a long and rewarding history of achievement in education behind us, our school community continues to move forward together with confidence, pride and enthusiasm.
